Our core beliefs

All creation exists to reveal and praise GodWe exist to “house” the glory of God so His presence is seen and experienced on the earth.  This is the purpose of creation.  Every person, community and region has its own destiny to know and reveal the glory of God. However, because of mankind’s selfishness (sin) and influence of evil (Satan), this purpose of creation is threatened, defiled and thwarted.  The person and work of Jesus Christ powerfully unlocks the glory destiny of individuals and communities.  Jesus provides the truth, forgiveness, and healing for people to be freed into their destinies of love.

The church is made up of many congregations.  It is our desire as a community of faith to come alongside other local congregations who are Christ following and Bible believing. Our desire is to partner with them, to equip and mobilize Christ followers into their God-given purpose of love.  We choose to meet mid-week to allow our members to participate and bring strength to other congregations that meet on the weekends.

Napa Arise exists to call people and communities into their God-designed destinies.  This involves recognizing and celebrating God’s purpose in people.  It also involves helping connect people with the powerful presence of Jesus for their lives.  When Jesus’ loving power is experienced, people can change their wrong thinking and choices (repent), receive and give forgiveness and be healed and freed.  When individuals are free, they make the way for communities to be free.

God has purpose and help for every season.  The leadership of Napa Arise is committed to listening to what the Spirit of God is saying to the church and agree in prayer for the purposes of God for the current season.  The journey of life with God is a journey of intimacy and maturity.  Every season is full of challenge and beauty that awakens and refines us as we trust in the goodness and love of God.  We believe this love journey is an invitation from God for all to come into oneness with Him and His purposes.
